Windbreaks

 Out on the open prairie, the wind is a constant — and anyone who has worked, lived, or farmed in exposed country knows exactly what it costs. It steals heat from homes, stresses livestock, dries out soils, and pushes snow across roads and farmyards in ways that make a hard winter even harder.
